Wild Flowers to feature in Marston Green

The Parish Council has sponsored a wild flower border in The Pleck. (The triangular piece of land situated on the corner of Bickenhill Road and Coleshill Road).

The planting has been shared by our two local Schools – Marston Green Infant Academy and Marston Green Junior School.

The children have planted over 500 young wild flowers and thousands of wild flower seeds.

This wild flower border should become a feature of The Pleck for years to come. The planting included: Common Fleabane, Cornflower, Black Knapweed, Valerian, Field Scabious, Meadow Clary, Fox & Cubs, Ragged Robin, Teasel, Lady`s Bedstraw, Salad Burnet, Wild Carrot, Cat`s Ear, Foxglove, Oxlip and Field Poppy.
