Applications are invited for the role of part-time Parish Clerk.
The successful applicant will be required to provide professional support and guidance in respect of all aspects of the Council’s work, including attending of monthly evening meetings, documenting and circulating minutes for these meetings together with providing comprehensive administration support.
The ideal candidate will be a CILCA qualified Parish Clerk or a person willing to work towards this qualification, has a working knowledge of Local Government procedures, possesses excellent communication & high level of IT skills, is a good team player and has an ability to be flexible with regard to the needs of the job.
Working arrangement:
The successful applicant will work from the Parish Council premises however due to the current COVID-19 government restrictions it is anticipated that the majority of work will be carried out from home until further notice.
Salary:
LC2 point 26 FTE £23,866pa (pro-rata as this is a part-time position).
Hours of work:
The role will be offered on a flexible basis, with a requirement to commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week.
