HS2 Works: Severn Trent Water diversion across Catherine De Barnes Lane

Skanska (working on behalf of National Highways) are upgrading the M42 junction 6 to enable better movement of traffic on and off the A45, supporting access to the airport and preparing capacity for the new HS2 station. Work will include creating a new dual carriageway from the M42 to A45 Clock
Interchange.

To complete the construction, they need to divert utilities such as gas, water electricity and telecommunications. Skanska need to carry out a Severn Trent Water diversion across Catherine De Barnes Lane, between Clock Interchange and Clock Lane to allow them to build the dual carriageway. This will require them to work ‘in’ the carriageway.

To carry out the work safely they will need to close Catherine De Barnes Lane from 10pm on Friday 8 April to 5am on Monday 11 April. Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place during the closure. See attached map for more detail.
