There will be night time road closures on the A45 Westbound carriageway near clock interchange on:

Friday 24 September, from 10pm to 5.30am

Saturday 25 September, from 10pm to 5.30am

This full carriageway closure is needed to allow installation of narrow lanes. This work includes fitting safety barriers and temporary white lines.

These narrow lanes create a barrier between live traffic and the workers building the M42 junction 6 improvement scheme. These will be in place until 13 June 2022, removed for the Commonwealth Games, then reinstalled after 15 August 2022.

While the road is closed, the diversion route which will take traffic via the B4438, onto the B4102, Damson Parkway and back onto the A45 Westbound carriageway will be clearly signposted.

The A45 Eastbound carriageway will remain open as normal.
