The Parish Council would like to thank all those who turned out to support the Queen’s Baton Relay on Tuesday. Despite the weather conditions, around 400 of you of waited patiently to greet the baton as it made its way through our village. We were incredibly proud to see such a turnout and we even made the local BBC news.
Special thanks must go to those who provided the entertainment and catering in the Memory Garden. Thanks to Hayley and the team from the Picnic Basket for providing drinks and snacks, to North Solihull Additional Needs Support Group for their sensory play and ‘meet the creature’ features and of course to Will E Droppit and Norbert and Gilbert the Garden Fairies who kept everyone laughing.
Thank you, Marston Green. You’ve done yourselves proud.
