Following the success of its Here2Help events in December, the Solihull Financial Inclusion Partnership, led by Solihull Council, has organised two more free drop-in events this month in Fordbridge and Solihull town centre.
Alongside the Here2Help web pages, advice booklets and helplines, the events are designed to help make sure that Solihull residents are aware of the range of different types of help that is available, as well as how, when and where to access it.
Both events will have staff from some of the organisations involved in the Here2Help campaign, offering free advice and support on a range of topics, including energy and fuel, finance, work, housing and mental health.
The events take place on:
- Wednesday 22 March, 10am – 2pm at The Junction, Chapelhouse Road, Fordbridge, B37 5HA
- Friday 24 March, 10am – 2pm, The Core, Homer Road, Touchwood, B91 3RG

Finally to ensure everyone’s getting the financial support that they’re entitled to, visit the government’s ‘Help for Households’ site. This can be accessed via the council’s Here2Help pages along with lots of advice and resources.
