Following Government’s announcement stating that playgrounds in England are allowed to open, Bickenhill & Marston Green Parish Council will re-open the Recreation Ground and Bickenhill playgrounds on the 4th of July 2020 .
In order to provide a safe and clean environment, all play equipment has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected ready for this date.
The impact of COVID-19 means that care is still required by users, parents, guardians and others. The Parish Council is kindly asking everyone who wishes to use the playgrounds to keep the required social distancing and adhere to government guidelines. If necessary, please try to limit the number of users on equipment to maintain social distancing.
The Parish Council would also encourage parents and guardians to bring hand sanitiser gel or wipes to clean their children’s hands prior and after playing on the equipment.
The Parish Council will continue with regular rubbish collection, bin emptying, occasional equipment wipe-down and regular checks of the play areas and equipment.
