Over the last few days we have had a small number of reports about garage break-ins where high value tools have been targeted. To help to prevent this type of crime we are asking residents to be mindful when leaving garage doors open. Lots of people are getting around to doing jobs in the home and in the garden during lockdown so may be leaving garage doors open for longer periods of time. Opportunist thieves may be using this time to take a look at what is being stored in garages and coming back at a later date to steal valuable items.
