During 2020, HS2 will build four new highways bridges in the area that surrounds the future HS2 Interchange Station. All four bridges will be fully complete in early 2021.

The first of these new bridges will span the M42, and then the A446. To develop the A446 bridge, HS2 need to carry out surveys on the A446. To conduct these safely, HS2 need to install temporary road closures.

To carry out this work, the A446 northbound and southbound will be temporarily closed from Monday 13 July for 10 working days . Working hours will be 8pm to 6am, but contractors may be on site up to an hour before and after those times to set up and close down the site. A signed diversion route will be in place for the road closures.
