As part of preparation works for future construction of the HS2 railway route, LM (Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons) working on behalf of HS2 will install temporary traffic measures on and around Stonebridge Island between January to March 2022. This will allow the team to safely clear roadside vegetation. These measures will be as follows:

• Temporary road closure of Packington Lane and lane closures along sections of the A446 and A452 southbound, from 09:30am to 3:30pm each weekday, between Monday 24 January to Friday 18 February
• Temporary lane closures along sections of the A452 and A45 near Stonebridge Island, from 09.30am to 3.30pm each weekday, between Monday 21 February to Friday 4 March

Throughout these works, varying stretches of the road network will be affected along the routes outlined for varying durations of time. Works will be phased to avoid congestion.
