When the future HS2 Interchange Station opens, four highways bridges will connect the current road network to new routes. The second of these highways bridges was installed in October 2020 over the A446. LM (Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons) working on behalf of HS2, will be carrying out various activities to fully complete the construction of this bridge including monitoring before ownership is handed over to the highways authority.

LM will install a temporary, overnight road closure along short sections of the A446 northbound and southbound from 8pm on Monday 28 February to 6am on Tuesday 1 March. A signed diversion route will be in place for road users during this road closure. To facilitate this road closure, temporary single lane closures will also be installed along short sections of the A452 northbound and A446 southbound from 8pm on Monday 28 February to 6am on Tuesday 1 March.
