From 3 April, 8am until 19 May, 6pm, Solihull MBC will be placing temporary road closures and 30mph maximum speed limits on Coleshill Road to support HS2 Works. Details are as follows:

Closure: Coleshill Heath Road, Chelmsley Wood (north-easterly direction only) – from its junction with Yorkminster Drive to the Solihull Boundary (the vicinity of the M6 over-bridge).

30mph Max Speed Limit: Coleshill Heath Road – from the Solihull Authority Boundary near the M6 Overbridge to its junction with Yorkminster Drive.

A signed diversion route will be in place, Signed via Chester Road A452, Birmingham Road, Stonebridge Road A446 and Coleshill Heath Road. Vice versa for the opposite direction. Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies.
