For 2 nights, from Thursday 22nd June 2023 at 22:00 until Friday 23rd June at 05:00 and from Friday 23rd June 2023 at 22:00 until Saturday 24th June 2023 at 05:00, there will be temporary road closures to allow Skanska to carry out major Clock Island upgrades as part of M42 Jct.6 Project. Affected roads are as follows:

Catherine-de-Barnes Lane/Clock Interchange – from its junction with Clock Lane through to the east-bound exit slip of the A45 Coventry Road (northbound direction only).

Closed except for access extents: Catherine-de-Barnes Lane – from its junction with B4102 Hampton Lane through to its junction with Clock Lane (northbound direction only).

There will be a signed diversion route via A45 Coventry Road, Damson Parkway, Yewtree Lane, A41 Solihull Bypass, Hampton Lane and vice versa in other direction.

Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction and access through the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of closure.
