Frank Bunce Retires As Chairman of the Parish Council

Councillor Frank Bunce indicated recently that he wished to stand down from the position of Chairman of the Parish Council after twelve years at the helm and, at the Parish Council meeting on Wednesday, he tendered his resignation from the Parish Council.

Councillors Clive Hill and Jonathan Horton were voted in as the new Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively.

“Dear Frank,

Your term as Chairman has now ended and the Parish Council want to take this opportunity of expressing our appreciation for your service and dedication and to thank you for your hard work and commitment in building up the Parish Council to what it is today.

It is fifteen years since you joined the Parish Council, Frank, and for the last twelve, in your role as Chairman, your stewardship has been characterised by innovative ideas and tireless efforts. You have created an accomplished and efficient team and, in enhancing the quality and impact of the Parish Council, you have built a really good relationship with the residents of Bickenhill and Marston Green.

Your devotion and energy will be difficult to match but you are leaving a great team on a very strong footing that has been created by you.

Thank you  Frank for your dedication and your friendship.

We wish you “all the best” as you enter this new chapter in your life.”
